On Saturday, October 23rd, HHF Coach/Mentor Eliza Gonzalez and friends hosted a skate jam and winter coat drive at the Maloof Skatepark in Queens. It was a positive day for the community filled with cash-for-tricks contests, vendor pop-ups, free food and beverages, and live music performances. As Eliza Gonzalez puts it, "Hosting this event at Maloof Skatepark, we wanted to end our last event of the season with a bang. With our coat drive being a huge success and the DJ's and live performances providing dope sounds amidst our skate jams. We truly saw everything we worked for come full circle. From the vendors who always display their amazing talents, to the sponsors who support us. To be able to give back to the community right before the colder weather hit and to provide a safe yet fun space for all to enjoy was one for the books. It's truly always a pleasure to have HHF support our vision." Video courtesy of Michael Furnari and Parlour Productions. Comments are closed.
