On Friday 11/11/2022, the Harold Hunter Foundation partnered with photographer David LaChapelle to host an Artist Talk and Gallery Walkthrough to celebrate LaChapelle's historic takeover of Fotografiska Museum in Manhattan. Featuring more than 150 works created between 1984 and 2022, LaChapelle's Fotografiska takeover - titled "make BELIEVE" - is the artist's most comprehensive exhibition to date. Central to our mission of supporting skateboarders in and beyond New York City is to create opportunities for our community to showcase their work. On Monday January 9th, 2023 from 6-9pm, the Harold Hunter Foundation transformed the 6th floor of Fotografiska Museum into a pop-up photo exhibition featuring visual works created by 28 NYC skateboarders aged 16 to 61 years old inspired by the (many) themes LaChapelle explores in "make BELIEVE".
