Skate Camp

The Skate Camp Program, is a transformative 6-month journey designed to provide our young people with the opportunity to explore and excel in skateboarding.

This program consists of weekly skate sessions, and culminates in a memorable weeklong sleep away camp at Camp Reimagined in Huguenot, NY. It's a chance for participants to immerse themselves in skateboarding, build skills, foster new friendships, and experience the great outdoors.

Skate Camp provides opportunities to participate in a year-round program developing SEL and skating skills.

Components
Weekly Skate Sessions: Participants engage in weekly skateboarding sessions led by experienced instructors, allowing them to build their skills and learn from one another.

Skill Workshops: Professional skateboarders provide hands-on skill-building workshops, teaching tricks, techniques, and safe skateboarding practices.

Sleep Away Camp: The highlight of the program is the week at Camp Reimagined in Huguenot, NY. Here, participants can immerse themselves in skateboarding, build their skills, and enjoy outdoor activities in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Skill Development: The program focuses on improving skateboarding skills, from beginners to advanced levels, with professional guidance and mentorship.

Community Building: Participants will bond with peers who share a passion for skateboarding, creating lasting friendships and a sense of belonging.

Outdoor Adventure: The weeklong sleepaway camp offers a unique outdoor experience, providing a break from the urban environment and allowing participants to connect with nature.
